Our SS23 collection aims to use colors that connect a world still waking up after a long period of restriction and uncertainty. With deliberately use of colors, shapes, and textures that connect with a feeling of optimism and hope, but also stability and balance. Criton stems from Troides Criton, a Birdwing Butterfly that originates in the Bali region of Indonesia. A life changing place where time slows down, breath deepens, smiles widen, and souls connect. Transformation and Evolution are essential.

    Founded in 2022 by African-American entrepreneur James Carter, CRITON TEMPLE proposes a move towards expressive headwear. The brand finds its identity through a collection of refined pieces featuring embroidered butterfly embellishments, a hemp linen blend body, with iridescent accents, and opaque pearls. Trucker and Bonnie caps are the introduction to the sophisticated contemporary collection. With an appreciation for natural materials and a commitment to health and healing in design, CRITON TEMPLE offers a defiant vision of modern headwear.
